Curriculum

Curriculum Statement

At Hexthorpe, it is our intention to provide all children with a knowledge–rich curriculum, which will allow every learner to have a powerful and valuable learning experience throughout their time at primary school, which will prepare them for their secondary and further education. We have constructed a curriculum that provides all learners with the knowledge and cultural capital they will need to become educated citizens and succeed in life. We aim to prepare all children to meet the challenges of a rapidly-changing world with confidence and success, based on their individual starting points, future goals and aspirations – encouraging all learners to ‘Be Brilliant’ at every opportunity.
