School Meals

A free midday meal is available for all children attending full time education in Foundation 2, Year 1 and Year 2 and comes under the heading of Universal Entitlement. For those who pay for meals, the cost is £2.75 per child per day. Please note that all meals must be paid for in advance at the beginning of the week. Lunch money should be paid on My Child at School, if you need log in details for your account on My Child at School please ask at the school office. If your child is eligible for free school meals, please let the school office know.

SCHOOL MENU

PACKED LUNCHES
Packed lunches should be in a sealed named container. We ask if packed lunches can be of a healthy nature too so please no chocolate, fizzy drinks or sweets. Drinks should be in plastic not glass bottles.

WATER
Each child has their own personal water bottle and access to drinking water throughout the day. Children leave this water bottle in school and it is sterilised in their own classroom.

MILK AND FRUIT
Currently all children in Key Stage 1 have a free piece of fruit every day as part of the government’s healthy eating programme.

Free and subsidised milk is provided throughout the school by the ‘Cool Milk’ company. Parents are requested to register their child at www.coolmilk.com. Under 5’s and children eligible for free school meals are entitled to a free 189ml carton of milk daily once registered.
